Rural Sport Event under the PRESS SSCP Project

Our rural sport event for MOVE WEEK 2022 was part of our Erasmus+ PRESS project aiming at promotion of equal opportunities and social inclusion of rural youth through sport; -we organised bike rides to the stadium in the village of Dabene where the young people from 3 villages (Dabene, Voynyagovo and Kliment) and the town of Karlovo rode to the stadium in Dabene where they played together some games. -the chairperson of the Local Commission of Youth and Sport and the head of the Youth and Sport Department in the Municipality of Karlovo also took part in the sport event; -the local Rotary Club Ротари Клуб Карлово supported the event ensuring flags and caps with the Bulgarian flag for the participants; - under the project we prepared a sport tombola with presents for all the children and young people who took part in the sport event; -the mayors of the three villages supported the young people by either riding with them or escorting them by cars to ensure the safety of the bike riders;
